“DANG, I GOT A WARRANT” INITIATIVE A SUCCESS
The Benton Police Department recently concluded the month-long “Dang, I Got a Warrant” initiative. It was a resounding success with 204 misdemeanor and 44 felony warrants served during the month of March.
On 3/30/15, at approximately 10:08 PM, an officer with the Benton Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a truck near the intersection of Cox St. and Mason Drive.
Detectives with the Benton Police Department have identified Marcquestin West (30 YOA) of Little Rock as the suspect in the recent aggravated robbery at the Kum and Go (2202 Lincoln Road).
On 3/29/15, at approximately 9:06 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Richards St. on report of a disturbance. Upon their arrival, they made contact with an off-duty officer who was speaking with a victim about an unwanted person hanging around their (the victim’s) home.
On 3/27/15, at approximately 6:30 PM, an officer with the Benton Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in 800 block of Cole Drive. Contact was made then made with the occupant, Kevin Langley (30 YOA) of Benton.
