IMG 5882On Monday, March 30, 2015, twelve individuals were arrested in Saline and Pulaski Counties on twenty-three active felony bench warrants.  The round-up was conducted by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), Benton Police Department, Bryant Police Department and United States Marshal’s Service.

 

Six teams, comprised of over thirty deputies, U.S. agents and K-9 units, assembled at the SCSO before dawn.  Each team was provided relevant information on the suspected locations of fifty-one subjects wanted on Failure to Appear (FTA) bench warrants.  All of the FTA warrants were related to felony charges. 

 

Following are the names, race, sex, ages and charges of the people arrested:

3.Roger Kuhn W/M65 YOA FTA for failure to report as a sex offender

5.Jay McAdams W/M27 YOA FTA for first degree assault

6.Tiffany McLemoreW/F28 YOA FTA for narcotic violation

7.Meagan McVayW/F34 YOA FTA for forgery

8.Roy Norris B/M65 YOA FTA for forgery

9.Nicholas PrestonW/M30 YOA FTA for narcotic violations

10.Herschel SandersW/M45 YOA FTA for narcotic violations

11.Joe Smothers W/M39 YOA FTA for narcotic violations

12.Stacy Watkins W/F36 YOA FTA for narcotic violations

 

The individuals arrested were lodged in the Saline County Jail and Pulaski County Jail.  The following individuals were not able to be apprehended during this round-up:

Saline County Sheriff Rodney Wright stated that there were no injuries to either law enforcement officials or defendants during this operation. Sheriff Wright urged the public to contact the SCSO at 501-303-5609 should they have any information as to the whereabouts of the wanted subjects who are still at large.
