On 4/4/15, at approximately 9:30 PM, an officer with the Benton Police Department observed a vehicle violate traffic laws and conducted a traffic stop on it near the intersection of Hoover St. and Algood Street.

The Benton Police Department recently concluded the month-long “Dang, I Got a Warrant” initiative. It was a resounding success with 204 misdemeanor and 44 felony warrants served during the month of March.

MULTI-AGENCY TASK FORCE NETS TWELVE ARRESTS DURING WARRANT ROUND-UP
On Monday, March 30, 2015, twelve individuals were arrested in Saline and Pulaski Counties on twenty-three active felony bench warrants. The round-up was conducted by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), Benton Police Department, Bryant Police Department and United States Marshal’s Service.
