Officers with the Benton Special Investigation Unit and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted undercover compliance checks of businesses that serve alcohol in Benton and Saline County.

On 4/22/15, at approximately 12:49 AM, an officer with the Benton Police Department observed a vehicle do a U-turn in the middle of an intersection at Valley View Dr. and Carpenter St., and noticed they also failed to use proper signals.

On 4/15/15, at approximately 9:47 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the 800 block of S. Main St. on report of shots being fired with a victim being injured.
