A Little Rock resident is facing multiple charges after allegedly firing multiple shots in a Benton neighborhood. About 8:50 p.m. Sunday, officers from the Benton Police Department responded to Hiland Place for reports of gunfire.
The goal of the Benton Police Department’s initiative for August, “Below 100,” remains the same as July’s “Operation Traffic Safety 101” initiative, which is an effort to greatly reduce vehicle accidents.
At approximately 6:20 a.m. Monday, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the I-30 Travel Park in reference to shots fired. Witnesses told officers that during a welfare check 28-year-old Ryan Shane Lee of Benton approached them inside a camper trailer aggressively while holding a 9 mm handgun.
