OFFICERS GRADUATE FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING ACADEMY
The Benton Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of three officers from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) in Camden, Ark. on July 29. Matthew Fee, Alfiya Mills, and David Robinson each graduated after completing 480 hours through the academy.
Everyone has watched in disbelief over the past few weeks as many communities around us were shattered and some feel we have been divided as a nation.
Coroners from Saline and Lonoke County, and officers with the Benton Police Department, have a common goal – to severely diminish, if not completely end, infant deaths. Arkansas has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country, but Saline County Coroner Kevin Cleghorn believes education is the key to meeting their goal.
During the month of July, the Benton Police Department working jointly with the Bryant Police Department, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas Highway Patrol and the Arkansas State Police to enhance public safety and reduce traffic accidents.
