SUSPECT SOUGHT FOR SHOPLIFTING

The Benton Police Department is encouraging citizens to help locate a shoplifting suspect. The man shown in this video surveillance image allegedly took more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter, located at 17309 Interstate 30 in Benton, without paying.
The Benton Police Department is launching a new initiative which will cause a multitude of arrests. The Warrant Resolve-Olution will be conducted throughout January to find anyone in the city that has an outstanding warrant and take them into custody.

After serving the community for 22 years, Sgt. Justin Tittle retired from the Benton Police Department. Chief Kirk Lane and officers presented Tittle with his service weapon, badge and a shadow box of award and ranking badges.
A Benton man faces multiple charges after allegedly waving a gun at multiple tenants. At approximately 12:09 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Bradberry for a disturbance with weapons call.
