Anyone who looked at the Benton Police Department parking lot on Thursday, Jan. 28, could have perceived that there was a Policeman’s Ball or some other festive event occurring. There were patrol vehicles, marked and unmarked, from 16 different agencies along with all the BNPD vehicles.

The Benton Police Department has proudly joined forces with the Arkansas Attorney General's Office to combat prescription drug abuse in the state.

On 1/25/2016 at approximately 7:05 p.m. officers responded to the Benton Walmart, 17309 Interstate 30, for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim told officers that he parked a 2003 Ford F150 in the parking lot with the doors unlocked at 6:15 p.m. and left the keys in the floorboard before entering the store.
