A Hot Springs woman and a Las Vegas man have been arrested for multiple offenses related to a vehicle breaking and entering in Benton through a multiagency collaborative effort. At approximately 7:10 p.m. Saturday, Jan.
A stolen vehicle was recovered, bags of suspected marijuana and a suspect was taken into custody during a traffic stop. On 1/26/2015 at approximately 11:55 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle on the I-30 south service road for no license plate lights and for failure to stop at a stop sign.
The Benton Police Department has proudly joined forces with the Arkansas Attorney General's Office to combat prescription drug abuse in the state.
"We are proud to be a part of this collabrative effort," Police Chief Kirk Lane said.

The Benton Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying and locating a suspect for connection to fraudulent use of a bank card. The suspect in the surveillance images is a black male wearing a gray sweat suit.
On 1/25/2016 at approximately 7:05 p.m. officers responded to the Benton Walmart, 17309 Interstate 30, for a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim told officers that he parked a 2003 Ford F150 in the parking lot with the doors unlocked at 6:15 p.m. and left the keys in the floorboard before entering the store.
