Two suspects have been arrested in relation to a recent shooting investigation involving a two year old child.  The suspects are identified as Tabitha Ashley (23 YOA) and Phillip Ashley (27 YOA), both of Benton.

On 11/19/15, at approximately 12:35 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the area of Hiland Pl. and North St. on report of a suspicious vehicle.  Officers located it and conducted a check of the vehicle and determined that it had been reported stolen.

On 11/17/15, at approximately 7:40 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the area of Edison Ave. near the intersection of Pope St. on report of a three vehicle accident.

On 11/17/15, at approximately 1:35 PM, the Benton Police Department (BNPD) received a call about a two year old child being shot at an address on Nelson Court.
