BNPD officers responded just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of an aggravated robbery at Slim Chickens, 7831 Alcoa Road. Upon arrival, officers made contact with five employees who were present during the incident. No injuries were reported.

Benton Police Department officers responded to a Gum Street residence just after 9 p.m. Saturday (April 13) in reference to a shooting. A female victim, age 51, suffered a single gunshot wound and was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. After undergoing surgery, she is reportedly in stable condition.
