BNPD officers responded to the North Service Road at McCright St. just before 2 a.m. Sunday for a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male victim, 30-year-old Jacob Bridges of Benton.
BNPD officers responded to the Military Road overpass just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday after reports of an unconscious person being located nearby. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male subject. No identity is being released at this time, and a cause of death is not yet determined.

Benton Police Department responded to the Carpenter Street overpass just before 8:30 Monday evening in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. A female victim, 54-year-old Heidi Taylor of Benton, was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Benton Police Department officers responded to the area of Military Road and Landers Road just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday in reference to a red Infiniti using flashing blue lights that made other vehicles move over.
