BNPD CAPTAIN GRADUATES FROM FBI NATIONAL ACADEMY, EARNS AWARD
Captain Kevin Russell of the Benton Police Department recently graduated from the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia. Capt. Russell was among the 233 law enforcement officers who graduated on March 18th from the 263rd Session.
Detectives Dustin Hamm and David Richey of the Benton Police Department recently attended a training course with Allyn West of the Saline County Coroners pertaining to investigations of sudden and unexplained death of an infant (a child less than 12 months of age).
Detectives with the Benton Police Department is requesting the assistance of citizens to help identify a suspect related to property stolen from a vehicle. The suspect in the picture allegedly attempted to cash a check at a bank in Sherwood on Tuesday, March 22 using an identification card and bank card reported stolen from Benton.

At approximately 7:03 a.m. Thursday, March 17 residents on Mount Vernon Drive reported that three vehicles were broken into and items were stolen from them.
