TEEN SEAT BELT USE-FOCUS OF BNPD’S EFFORT TO SAVE YOUNG LIVES

buckle smallThe Benton Police Department will join State, county and city law enforcement agencies in a two-week mobilization scheduled from March 10-23 to increase seat belt use among young drivers and passengers and ultimately save lives.

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR THREE COUNTS OF RAPE INVOLVING JUVENILE VICTIMS

MickelBodiford1On 2/27/14, detectives with the Benton Police Department took a report of a possible rape involving a female juvenile victim.  During the investigation, evidence indicated that a rape had taken place and that there was possibly another juvenile victim involved.
