Recently, Lt. Mike Connell and Sgt. Justin Tittle of the Benton Police Department completed an advanced criminal justice course of study offered through the Criminal Justice Institute in Little Rock.
On 6/16/15, at approximately 9:52 PM, Tieren Watson was arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred on 6/13. Watson was taken into custody at the America’s Best Inn on Scott Hamilton Drive in Little Rock without incident.

On 6/13/15, at approximately 7:30 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the 200 block of Valley St. on report of a shooting. While en-route to the call, officers were informed that an individual that had been shot was being transported to the emergency room.
