On 6/16/15, at approximately 9:52 PM, Tieren Watson was arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred on 6/13. Watson was taken into custody at the America’s Best Inn on Scott Hamilton Drive in Little Rock without incident.

Recently, two officers with the Benton Police Department and one from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office graduated from the ARKANSAS LEADER program through the Criminal Justice Institute in Little Rock.

On 6/13/15, at approximately 7:30 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the 200 block of Valley St. on report of a shooting.  While en-route to the call, officers were informed that an individual that had been shot was being transported to the emergency room.
