Citizen calls led to the arrest of four suspects allegedly attempting to burglarize a vacant house. At approximately 2:09 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, officers responded to 504 E. Sevier Street after receiving calls of suspects attempting to break into the home.

BNPD LAUNCHES ‘THANK A VETERAN’ INITIATIVE
Officers and staff of the Benton Police Department will show gratitude to military veterans with the launch of the “Thank A Veteran” initiative during the month of November. The BNPD also encourages citizens to give thanks to the men and women who served the country to ensure American freedoms.
