SUSPECT ARRESTED ON SIX COUNTS OF RAPE

imageRecently, officers with the Benton Police Department took a report of a possible rape involving a female victim. Detectives then took over the investigation and evidence indicated that a rape had taken place.

coin200    On 10/26/13, the Benton Police Department was notified by the Arkansas State Police that an officer with our agency was allegedly involved in an off-duty incident they were investigating.  The officer in question, Lt. Monte Hodge, was immediately placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.  

ROBBERY CALL LEADS TO COMPLAINANT BEING ARRESTED FOR FALSE REPORT

AkerionWarren    On 1/20/14, at approximately 12:22 PM, officers responded to the Cedarwood Inn on report of an aggravated robbery that took place.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with the alleged victim in the case, Akerion Warren (30 YOA).  

 

NATIONALLY RENOWNED ‘DESERT SNOW’ HOLDS CRIMINAL INTERDICTION COURSE IN BENTON

Coin2The Benton Police Department, in conjunction with the Saline County Prosecutors Office, recently hosted the nationally renowned criminal and terrorist interdiction training group known as ‘Desert Snow’.  The class was held at the Benton Events Center from 1/14/14-1/16/14 and had 40 officers from 15 different agencies represented.
