On 6/20/14, at approximately 10:58 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department took a report in reference to a theft of some personal checks.

On 6/17/14, at approximately 12:28 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the Henry Street access to the Saline River on report of a possible drowning.  Upon their arrival they made contact with people there who advised that a male subject who was swimming had gone underwater and not resurfaced.  

The Benton Police Department, in conjunction with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and Golden ‘K’ Kiwanis, will be hosting a FREE fishing derby in June.  The “Hooked on Fishing” fishing derby will be held on June 18th, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Lake in Benton.
