ARREST MADE IN CHILD ABDUCTION CASE
On Sunday, July 6th, officers with the Benton Police Department took a report of a possible abduction of a juvenile. It was determined that a 6 year old child’s noncustodial father had taken her without consent from the mother.
On 7/1/14, at apdproximately 9:40 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Summit Bank (1114 Hwy 35 N.) on report of a robbery. Upon officers arrival it was determined that an actual robbery had occurred and the suspect had fled the scene.
On 5/31/14, at approximately 9:30 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Lyle Park to assist Benton Animal Control Officers on a call. They informed officers about a possible animal abuse incident that had taken place.
