Benton, Ark.- Oct. 3, 2024— BNPD officers responded to the intersection of Congo and Glenda Lane just after 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for a three-vehicle accident with injury. Upon arrival, officers discovered the driver of the motorcycle, 28-year-old Sean Astley of Benton, suffering from extensive injuries. He was transported for treatment but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The BNPD Accident Reconstruction Team and Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. No charges have been filed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
