Nneka Seville
Benton Police Department has placed a hold on suspect Nneka Seville, 31, of Benton, for the charge of Manslaughter- a Class C Felony- in the death of her 3-year-old son in February. Seville is currently being held without bond at the Pulaski County Detention Center on additional, unrelated charges.
BNPD officers responded to Chapel Ridge Apartments February 26 in reference to an unresponsive child. The toddler was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives were able to confirm the presence of illegal narcotics in the home, with toxicology reports confirming the three-year-old was able to access them.
