BNPD: July Hit-and-Run Suspect Charged with Felony Leaving the Scene

NewCoin2014 BackBenton Police Department recently served the warrant from the July 23 hit-and-run incident near the 17700 block of I-30 that took the life of 28-year-old Louisiana resident Dustin Thompson.

Thirty-seven-year-old Lucas Riley, of Benton, turned himself in Sept. 25 on the felony charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Personal Injury or Death. The warrant was issued Sept. 21. Riley was transported to the Saline County Jail without incident.
