Detectives with the Benton Police Department are requesting the assistance of citizens to help identify two people suspected of taking items from Young’s Jewelers. At approximately 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, employees reported that two black females previously entered the store and after picking out an earring set, went to the front register. The two then asked to view a diamond ring.
The suspects reportedly asked if the store had a layaway plan and when the employee went to ask a store associate, the two women left the store. One of the suspects reportedly has a tattoo of the word “Sweet C” on her right arm. The two suspects were last seen driving out of the parking lot in silver car.
