Recently, detectives with the Benton Police Department obtained information that a registered sex offender living in the city, Bobby Poe (45 YOA), had possibly violated the registration law set forth in their release.
Poe.BobbyBased on information and evidence obtained during their investigation, detectives determined Poe was living at a different address than the one previously provided by him.  Failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address is a violation of the state sex offender registration law and an arrest warrant was issued for Poe.
Poe was recently apprehended without incident and is charged with Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
