On 5/23/14, at approximately 8:35 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the 400 block of Ashby Street on report of a possible burglary in progress call. Upon their arrival, it was determined that a burglary was indeed taking place.
Officers made contact with one suspect outside the residence who was later identified as Alexander Wall (25 YOA). Upon subsequent investigation, it was determined two other suspects were still inside the residence. One suspect was located a short time later and was identified as Samantha Wilder (25 YOA).
A third suspect, later identified as Dillan Billingsley (26 YOA), fled by foot from the residence. Officers were able to locate him after a short foot pursuit and he was taken into custody without further incident. All three suspects were transported to the Saline County Detention facility for processing without further incident.
Wilder is charged with Residential Burglary, and Walls is charged with Residential Burglary, Obstruction of Governmental Operation, and warrants out of our department. Billingsley is charged with Aggravated Residential Burglary, Fleeing on Foot, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Use of Communications Devise to Facilitate a Crime, Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons (Felon).
