Three Benton residents have been arrested for an alleged rape of a juvenile. Billy Joe Duke, 58, faces a class Y felony charge of Rape. David Eugene Lewis, 36, and 33-year-old Tonya Lynn Lewis each face a class B felony charge of Permitting Abuse of a Minor.
It is alleged that Duke had an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old since the victim was 11-years-old. David and Tonya Lewis allegedly allowed the juvenile to live in the home of Duke for three months. All three suspects are being held in the Saline County Detention Center and are expected to appear at 11 a.m. before Benton District Judge Mike Robinson.
