Phimmacheck CollageSMALLLLLLLAs a result of a 6-month narcotic investigation conducted by officers with the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Benton Police Department, and Arkansas State Police, with cooperation from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Little Rock District Office, two people have been arrested and face multiple drug related charges. About 6 a.m. Thursday, May 5, BNPD SWAT team along with sheriff’s deputies, ASP and DEA served a high risk search warrant at 7113 Ram Road in Saline County.

The investigation revealed evidence that methamphetamine has been distributed from the residence which led to the search and seizure warrant.

Subsequent to the warrant being served quantities of suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana (with a combined estimated street value of $25,000), 38 firearms (three were reported stolen and one was defaced), US currency and several vehicles were seized from the home. Kongkeomany Phimmacheck 39, and 33-year old Michelle Isom were taken into custody and face felony charges of Trafficking, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Maintaining a Drug Premises, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Theft by Receiving.

“Today, we have disrupted a criminal organization that was responsible for distributing a large amount of crystal methamphetamine throughout our community,” said Saline County Sheriff Rodney Wright. “Crystal meth is one of the most dangerous drugs in Saline County. Most of it is made in Mexico and shipped here for sale to local retailers who push it to consumers.”

“The Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Benton Police Department have been conducting drug investigations in the county for over a year. This has been a collaborative effort which has proven to be successful in many cases. These investigations are time consuming as detectives and deputies are always focused on targeting drug distributors, drug manufacturers and any inter-state or international connections to larger drug organizations. The coordination, cooperation and collaboration in this investigation is a tremendous tribute to the selfless dedication we see time and time again with our SCSO deputies, Benton PD detectives and DEA Task Force counterparts.”

These arrests are part of an on-going investigation. Other arrests are expected in the near future as the investigation progresses.
