JOHSNONCourtney Zyronne Johnson, 20, who had been on the lam since escaping from a mental health facility in Benton on Feb. 5 was located Wednesday.

Johnson, a North Little Rock resident, had been an inmate in the Lonoke County Detention Center for charges of Aggravated Robbery, Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons, and Theft of Property. He received a court order from a judge in Lonoke County to be transferred to a mental health facility in Benton. At approximately 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, Johnson reportedly jumped a fence at the facility with assistance from another person being treated at the facility. The person who helped in the escape is facing a class C felony charge of Assisting in Escape.

On Wednesday, March 1, U.S. Marshals with the Eastern Fugitive Task Force located Johnson in Maumelle and took him into custody. Johnson faces a class B felony charge of 2nd degree Escape in Benton. Johnson additionally has warrants with Little Rock Police Department for Robbery, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office for Robbery and three counts of Probation Revocation, Cabot Police Department for Aggravated Robbery, and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office for Aggravated Robbery.

The investigation is on-going and additional charges for Johnson could be forthcoming.
