coin200On 2/10/14, at approximately 7:00 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department were dispatched to Dogwood Lakes Apartments (1907 Hwy 5 N) on report of an armed robbery.  Upon arrival, they made contact with the victim in the case who advised officers that two suspects had robbed her at gunpoint and fled the area. 

 

According to the victim, she was walking near the front of the property when two suspects pulled up in a gold Hyundai Elantra near her.  A female suspect in the car appeared to possibly be in medical distress and a male suspect asked to use the victim’s phone.  Upon approaching the car, the male suspect then pointed a pistol towards her and took her phone and purse, and then fled the area towards Hwy 5 North.  

 

The white male suspect was described as having short red hair, appeared to be in his mid-thirties, and of medium build.  The white female suspect appeared to also be in her mid-thirties, with long red hair, and a thin build.
