Detectives with the Benton Police Department have been working diligently on three business burglaries that have taken place recently. Recently, evidence and information they developed led to an arrest of a suspect, identified as Dillian Billingsley (25 YOA), in relation to the cases.
Two of the burglaries took place at Arkansas Onsite (18100 I-30) on 3/6 and 3/8. During the commission of these burglaries, there were numerous items damaged and stolen, including two pieces of heavy machinery. Another burglary took place on 3/29 at Ditch Witch (19930 I-30) where damage was done to the business and an ATV was stolen.
Billingsley is being charged in connection with all three burglaries and was taken into custody on 4/1/14 without incident. He is charged with three counts of Commercial Burglary, three counts of Theft of Property (Felony), three counts of Criminal Mischief (Felony), and two counts of Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime. This is an on-going case and additional charges could be forthcoming.
