Clayton Bradley Charles 42At approximately 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to 2121 Alcoa Road for a report of multiple shots fired. Officers found a victim with a non-life threatening injury to the leg.

The victim was transported to Saline Memorial Hospital Emergency Room for treatment and was later released. The alleged shooter, 42-year-old Bradley Charles Clayton of Benton, was taken into custody and faces a class B felony charge of 1st degree Battery. The incident is an on-going investigation.
