NewCoin2014-Front-Transparent-webDetectives with the Benton Police Department obtained information that the third suspect in a recent bank robbery, Oneida Saylor (35 YOA), has been arrested in Texas.  Saylor was the third and final suspect being sought for a robbery that took place at Malvern National Bank on 6/16/14.  

 

Detectives worked diligently with numerous other agencies on locating the suspects and preserving valuable evidence in the case.  Many of the other agencies that were contacted are also working parallel investigations on the suspects in their jurisdictions.  

 

Rodney and Stephanie Hurdsman were arrested previously in relation to this investigation.  All three suspects are currently awaiting extradition back to Arkansas.

Original Release 9/29/14:

 

Detectives with the Benton Police Department, working in conjunction with the FBI, the Louisiana State Police, Shreveport Police Department (LA), Round Rock Police Department (TX) and Wise County Sheriff’s Office (TX) were able to track down two suspects in relation to a recent bank robbery.  

 

The suspects, Rodney Hurdsman (45 YOA) and Stephanie Hurdsman (39 YOA), were apprehended on 9/29/14 without incident in Shreveport, LA.  The Hurdsman are currently incarcerated and awaiting extradition to Arkansas and possibly other states to face charges.  

 

A third suspect, Oneida Saylor (35 YOA), is still at large and is being sought.  Saylor should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone coming into contact with her should contact their local police agency or dial 911.  The blue BMW sport utility they were reportedly using has also been located.

Detectives with the Benton Police Department, in conjunction with the FBI, have identified suspects responsible for the recent bank robbery at Malvern National Bank (1111 Military Rd.).  The suspects in the case are from Texas and identified as Rodney Hurdsman (45 YOA), Stephanie Hurdsman (39 YOA), and Oneida Saylor (35 YOA).

 

Since the robbery on 6/16/14, detectives have diligently pursued various leads in the case.  Evidence and information obtained from their investigation and the FBI indicated that both Rodney and Stephanie Hurdsman, and Saylor were involved in the incident here.  

 

Rodney and Stephanie Hurdsman are husband and wife, and Saylor is Stephanie’s sister.  They were last seen driving a blue 2001 BMW X5 sport utility vehicle.  They should all be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone coming into contact with them should contact their local police agency or dial 911.  

 

All three suspects currently have warrants for their arrest for Aggravated Robbery and Theft of Property. They are also suspects in robberies in other jurisdictions and are being sought on various other charges.  There is a possibility they could be in Arkansas since information obtained indicates they have traveled extensively throughout the Southern states recently.    

 

Any suspects listed are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty

 

Original Release 6/16/14:

 

On 6/16/14, at approximately 4:16 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to Malvern National Bank (1111 Military Road) on report of a robbery.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that an actual robbery had occurred and the two robbers had fled the scene.

 

The two suspects entered the bank and then demanded money after displaying a pistol towards a clerk.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, both suspects then fled the bank on foot traveling towards the direction of Ferguson Drive.

 

One suspect was a white male who was wearing a mask that resembled the 'Mario Brothers' video game character.  The other suspect was a white female suspect who was wearing dark colored sunglasses.
