On 1/28/14, at approximately 4:55 PM, officers took a report of found property in the area of Carter Street. They made contact with a member of the coroners office who informed them a citizen had located a box of human ashes under their car. Contact was made with the originating crematory that was indicated on the box, but they were unable to provide any insight into the identity or possible family members. We are still trying to track down more information on the case, but we are asking for help in identifying the remains so they can be returned to the proper family member or guardian.
