On 8/19/13, at approximately 3:30 PM, officers responded to an address on Watts Road on report of a rape. Upon their arrival they made contact with the alleged victim in the case, identified as Kristin Johnson (24 YOA), who informed them an unknown suspect had broken into her residence and raped her just shortly before calling us.
Detectives then assumed the investigation and through the course of it they determined that no rape had taken place and the story had been fabricated. A warrant for Ms. Johnson’s arrest was subsequently obtained and she was taken into custody on 9/10/13 without incident.
Ms. Johnson is charged with Filing a False Police Report (Felony) in this case. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be possible.
