Benton Police Department detectives are seeking a fourth driver believed to be involved in a multiple vehicle accident that occurred July 13 near the Big Red Valero station on Highway 67. One victim succumbed to their injuries that resulted from the accident.

Witness statements and video footage have confirmed the pictured individual was at the scene of the accident, but the woman’s identity is not yet known. BNPD detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the woman in hopes of speaking with her about that day’s events.

The investigation remains ongoing. BNPD would like to note that this is not an attempt to defame the pictured individual; rather, it is the best lead to ensure the investigation can continue. The vehicle make and model are unknown at this time, but it is known to be a dark colored SUV or crossover with a luggage rack affixed to the rear of the vehicle and may display damage to the front driver’s side.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BNPD. Tips may be called in at 501-776-5947, 501-778-1171 or 501-315-TIPS. Anonymous tips may also be sent via text to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the message or at www.cityprotect.com.
