SUSPECT WANTED BY MULTIPLE AGENCIES FOR COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, THEFT APPREHENDED

Benton Police Department detectives have placed a hold on a suspect responsible for several instances of commercial burglary and theft. Jason McClellan, 38, of Bauxite, posed as an HVAC worker at multiple Central Arkansas pharmacies in order to gain access to narcotics. He is currently being held at the Pulaski County Jail for two Commercial Burglary charges, two Theft of Property charges, one Residential Burglary charge, and Escape.

BNPD is seeking charges for McClellan for Commercial Burglary for attempting to steal narcotics from Benton Walgreens. The investigation remains ongoing.
