Five officers from the Benton Police Department graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) in Camden, Ark. on Friday. The five officers are Madison Barden, Jackson Daniell, Corey Green, Austin Rath, and Ryan Roush.
During their 13-weeks of training, the officers had to complete areas of training that included Defensive Tactics, Academics, Practical Exercises, Firearms, and Physical Fitness. The five officers successfully completed a twelve week Field Training Course within the department prior to attending the academy.
The officers have been assigned to the patrol division where they are currently working.
