Four Suspects Arrested for Vehicle Break-In and Theft

On 10/3/13, at approximately 4:05 PM, officers were dispatched to the South Service Road at the East bound off ramp of I-30 for a report of breaking or entering.  Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim who informed officers their vehicle had been broken into and some items stolen.

The victim then showed officers another vehicle parked nearby that contained items from his vehicle in it.  While investigating, another citizen informed officers about four subjects sitting at a nearby convenience store that looked like they were waiting for a ride and looked suspicious.

Officers then made contact with the four individuals, two adults and two juveniles, at the store.  It was determined during their conversation that they were responsible for breaking into the vehicle and stealing items out of it, and were subsequently placed under arrest.

The two adult suspects were identified as Rafael Anguiano (39 YOA) and Angel Axel-Anguiano (18 YOA), and both were charged with Breaking or Entering, Theft of Property, and 2 counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The two juveniles were charged with Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property.

Anguiano and Axel-Anguiano were both transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.  The juveniles were taken into custody and transported to the Benton Police Department where they were both cited and released to the custody of their parents.
