BNPD ASKS CITIZENS HELP TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT

ShippSherwood0322164Detectives with the Benton Police Department is requesting the assistance of citizens to help identify a suspect related to property stolen from a vehicle. The suspect in the picture allegedly attempted to cash a check at a bank in Sherwood on Tuesday, March 22 using an identification card and bank card reported stolen from Benton.
 
At approximately 4:28 p.m. Feb. 26, the victim told officers that she had parked her vehicle to go for a run around Sunset Lake. When she returned, the passenger side front window was shattered and her purse was missing, which contained credit cards, cash, and multiple other items.
