The Benton Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of five officers from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. Nicholas Anderson, Austin Duncan, Cameron Molden, Franklin Snodgrass, and Quinterius Thrower each graduated from ALETA in Camden, Ark. on Dec. 18 after completing 480 hour.

The officers had to complete areas of training that included Defensive Tactics, Academics, Practical Exercises, Firearms, and Physical Fitness. Snodgrass and Anderson were honor graduates by placing first (97.32 percent) and third (96.67 percent), respectively, for academics out of the 101 ALETA graduates.

They all successfully completed a twelve week Field Training Course within the department prior to attending the academy. All five officers have been assigned to the patrol division where they are currently working.
