BNPD ASKING FOR PUBLICS HELP ON PEDESTRIAN HIT AND RUN CASE

NewCoin2014-Front-Transparent-webOn 9/16/15, at approximately 9:00 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the area of Sunset and Ridge Rd. on report of a pedestrian vs. car hit and run accident.  
 
Upon their arrival, they made contact with the 17 year old victim who said he had been struck by a car.  The suspect vehicle was described as being a white newer model passenger car that fled the area after striking him. 
 
Detectives with BNPD are diligently working the case, but are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
