BNPD DETECTIVES MAKE ARREST AND SOLVE 16 RECENT BURGLARY CASES

LonnieHileman1On 7/2/15, detectives with the Benton Police Department were diligently conducting follow-up investigations into recent burglaries when they discovered information about a possible suspect.  
 
The suspect, later identified as Lonnie Hileman (47 YOA) of Benton, was located by patrol officers and detectives at a residence on Military Road.  It was determined through information and evidence obtained that Hileman was believed to be responsible for sixteen residential and commercial burglaries, along with other related property crimes.  
 
Hileman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Saline County Detention Facility for processing.  Hileman is charged with 14 counts of Residential Burglary, 2 counts of Commercial Burglary, 8 counts of Unlawful Transfer of Stolen Property, Criminal Mischief, Theft of Property, and Theft of Scrap Metal.
 
Hileman is also an active parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
