The victim told officers he met the two suspects, identified as Brent Reeves (18 YOA) of Alexander and a juvenile suspect, at Sunset Lake to hang out. According to him, the meeting was setup through an app called “Meet Me” where they started communicating with each other prior to deciding to meet up and “hang out.”

When he met them, they approached him and threatened him with pistols and demanded his phone and other personal items.  The victim then sped off and as he did so he heard a “pop” and his back glass was broken out of his vehicle.

Reeves and the juvenile suspect were later apprehended by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office on 12/21 on separate charges.  BB guns, which looked like an actual pistol, were discovered by them and are believed to be what was used in this incident.
