On 11/16/14, at approximately 9:08 PM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to 1306 Dixie Street on report of a disturbance with a weapon call. Upon their arrival, they made contact with the suspect in the case who was identified as Marcus Noble (41 YOA) of Benton. Noble spoke with officers about a disturbance that took place between himself and other occupants of the residence.
Officers then spoke with the victim in the case who told them that she and Noble had been involved in a verbal altercation earlier in the evening whenever it escalated. The victim said Noble took out a knife and threatened her with it and then attempted to choke her.
Based on information and evidence gathered from the scene and witnesses, officers then took Noble into custody without incident. Noble is charged with Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member, Terroristic Threatening, and Assault on a Family or Household Member. Additionally, Noble is an active parolee out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.
