On 8/20/13, at approximately 8:15 PM, officers responded to 2019 Thomas Road in reference to a disturbance call. Upon their arrival, officers spoke with the victim in the case who said the suspect had busted in the door to her residence and threatened to harm her with a brick.
Officers then made contact with the suspect in the case, identified as being Ricky Higgs (B/M, 42 YOA), near the residence. After an investigation and speaking with a witness, Higgs was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault, 1st Degree Terroristic Threatening, and Residential Burglary. The investigation is still on-going and more charges could be possible.
