BNPD INVESTIGATING AGGRAVATED ROBBERY AND ASKING FOR PUBLICS HELP

KumAndGoSuspect1Detectives with the Benton Police Department are asking for the publics help in identifying a suspect related to a recent aggravated robbery case.
 
On 1/17/15, at approximately 12:32 AM, officers with the Benton Police Department responded to the Kum and Go convenience store (2202 Lincoln Rd.) on report of an aggravated robbery.  The clerk working at the store said a suspect came into the store and told him to give him all of his money or else he would kill him.  The suspect didn’t actually display a gun during the commission of the crime, but kept his hands in his pockets and alluded that he had one in his possession.  
 
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect then fled the area on foot.  The suspect is described as being a heavyset black male and was wearing a black and white “hoodie” and red shirt at the time of the crime.
